Still feeling unsure?
Nourished Motherhood begins tomorrow — FAQs & what to know if you’re still deciding.
Maybe part of you has been circling this quietly.
Opening the page.
Reading the emails.
Listening to the audios.
Wondering if Nourished Motherhood is really for you.
Wondering if you have the capacity.
Wondering if you’re struggling “enough.”
Wondering if you can receive support while you are still very much in process.
If that is where you are today, I want to help you make this decision with clarity — not pressure.
Because the deeper question may not only be:
Can I add one more thing?
It may be:
How much of my life is this already taking from me?
The replaying.
The bracing.
The body thoughts.
The feeding triggers.
The shame after hard moments.
The quiet exhaustion of trying to manage all of it privately while still showing up for everyone else.
Nourished Motherhood begins tomorrow, and enrollment closes tonight at 11:59pm PT.
So below, I’m answering the questions you may still be holding — about fit, capacity, calls, recordings, group sharing, investment, and what support actually looks like inside.
The quick version
If food, body, feeding, pregnancy, postpartum, shame, or the fear of passing this on are taking up more of your inner world than anyone can see, Nourished Motherhood was created for you.
This is an 8-week coaching circle where you can bring the real moments you’ve been carrying alone — the comments, triggers, shame spirals, body grief, feeding fears, pregnancy or postpartum body changes, and tender parts of recovery that motherhood keeps bringing to the surface.
Inside, you’ll receive weekly coaching, private community support, gentle audio accompaniment, reflection prompts, and real-life tools to help you feel less alone in the moments that usually leave you bracing, replaying, or trying to recover from shame alone.
So food, body, fear, and shame can begin to take up less space inside.
And more of you can be available for your children, your relationships, your rest, your joy, and your actual life.
You do not have to be in crisis.
You do not have to attend perfectly.
You do not have to share before you are ready.
You do not have to be fully certain in every part of you.
There is still space for you here.
Still have questions?
Is this for me if I’m not in crisis?
Yes — this space was created for the messy middle, not just moments of crisis.
Nourished Motherhood was created for the place where you may be functioning on the outside, but still carrying so much inside.
Maybe nothing is “falling apart,” but one hard moment can still follow you for hours.
Maybe you’re showing up for everyone else, but food, body, feeding, or shame are still taking up more space than you want them to.
You do not have to wait until things fall apart to receive support.
Is this only for pregnancy or postpartum?
Pregnancy and postpartum absolutely belong here — and they are not the only seasons this space holds.
Nourished Motherhood is for mothers in eating disorder recovery across pregnancy, postpartum, and active motherhood.
This may look like:
- a prenatal appointment where a number or comment followed you home
- postpartum hunger feeling frightening
- body changes that bring grief, shame, or panic
- breastfeeding or supply worries making food feel loaded again
- feeding your children while still healing your own food story
- feeling triggered by your child’s appetite, body, preferences, or food choices
- trying to raise your children differently while still caring for the wounded parts of yourself
Pregnancy and postpartum belong here.
So does the mother raising toddlers, school-aged children, tweens, or teens.
What if I already know a lot of this?
That makes sense.
Many mothers who come into Nourished Motherhood already know a lot.
You may have read the books, listened to the podcasts, worked with a therapist, learned intuitive eating, or saved the scripts.
But sometimes the moment happens before insight can reach you.
Your nervous system reacts.
The old fear rises.
The protective part takes over.
The shame comes afterward.
Nourished Motherhood is not about giving you more information to collect.
It is about helping you bring what you already know into the real moments where recovery and motherhood overlap — so you are not left replaying, spiraling, or trying to recover from shame alone.
What if I already have a therapist, dietitian, or treatment team?
Beautiful. Many mothers in this space do.
Nourished Motherhood is designed to complement your current care, not replace it.
This is not therapy, medical nutrition therapy, or a higher level of treatment.
It is a coaching circle where we bring the motherhood/recovery moments that often happen between appointments — the dinner reaction, the body comment, the prenatal visit, the postpartum hunger, the feeding trigger, the shame spiral — into a space where they can be witnessed, reflected on, and supported.
If you are currently needing a higher level of care, I’d encourage you to prioritize that support. And if you are unsure, you are always welcome to reach out and ask.
How The Cohort Works
What if I don’t have capacity?
This may be one of the most important questions.
Nourished Motherhood is not another thing to keep up with.
It is support for the part of you that has been trying to keep up with everything alone.
You do not have to attend perfectly.
You do not have to share before you are ready.
You do not have to have your story organized.
Quiet presence counts.
Watching the recording counts.
Letting one sentence stay with you counts.
Because the real drain may not be the support.
The real drain may be spending hours or days carrying the comment, the trigger, the body thought, the feeding moment, or the shame spiral alone.
Sometimes support is how capacity begins to return.
When are the calls?
Our first live call is tomorrow, Wednesday, June 3rd.
To ensure our circle fits your busy mom schedule, you’ll be able to vote for your preferred time slot—either 1:00 PM PT (4:00 PM ET) or 4:00 PM PT (7:00 PM ET)—right at checkout.
I will finalize our official weekly call time based on what works best for the group, and all calls will be recorded if you ever have to miss a session.
What if I can’t make it live every week?
Motherhood is unpredictable. I understand.
We would love to have you live when you can join, but you will not fall behind if life happens.
Calls are recorded, and you can revisit them when you need support.
Whether you are working through dinner chaos, pregnancy fatigue, bedtime routines, or a child needing you right as the call starts, the space is designed with real motherhood in mind.
What’s included?
Your enrollment includes:
8 weekly live group coaching calls so you have a consistent place to bring what is happening in real life
A bonus integration week so the work has room to settle
A small, intimate cohort limited to 15 mothers so the space can feel personal, supportive, and emotionally safe
Private community support between calls so you do not have to hold the hard moments alone until the next session
Weekly audio accompaniment so support can feel close in the middle of ordinary motherhood
Reflection prompts to help you notice what got touched, what needs care, and what repair might look like
Support tools for real-life food, body, and feeding moments so healing can move beyond insight and into practice
Call recordings if you cannot attend live or want to revisit the conversation later
This is not a content-heavy course.
It is a supportive space to bring the moments already happening in your real life — and begin practicing a different way through them, so that one hard moment does not have to become the thing you carry alone for the rest of the day.
What It Feels Like Inside
Do I have to share in the group?
Only when and if you’re ready.
You’re welcome to participate at the pace that feels supportive for your system.
You do not have to speak on the first call.
You do not have to tell your whole story.
You do not have to prove that your struggle is serious enough.
You can come quietly.
You can listen.
You can be witnessed gently.
There is no pressure to perform healing here.
What if I’m nervous about being in a group?
That makes sense too.
For many mothers in recovery, group spaces can feel vulnerable because being seen hasn’t always felt safe.
Especially when what you’re carrying feels messy, tender, or hard to explain.
That is why Nourished Motherhood is intentionally small and relational.
The goal is not to put you on the spot.
The goal is to create a space where you do not have to keep translating the overlap between eating disorder recovery and motherhood.
One Nourished Motherhood alum, Meg, shared:
“Nourished Motherhood has become a place where I can finally exhale. These are moms who truly get it — get me. I can share my unfiltered, messy, honest thoughts and be met with understanding instead of confusion or judgment. I’ve laughed and cried with these women, and the connections we’ve built feel real and lasting.”
That is the heart of this space.
Not performance.
Not pressure.
Not having to translate every layer.
A place to be met with understanding instead of confusion or judgment.
What if I worry I’m too much?
That fear is something we all relate to.
Especially if you have spent a long time trying to keep the hardest parts of recovery tucked away, managed, or hidden.
But needing support does not make you too much.
The parts of you that feel scared, ashamed, protective, overwhelmed, or unsure are not disqualifying.
They are welcome here.
This is a space where growth and struggle can both belong.
Investment + Next Steps
What if I’m not sure I can justify the investment?
This is such an understandable place to pause.
Especially when you are used to spending money, time, and energy on everyone else first.
The investment is:
$997 paid in full
or
3 monthly payments of $350
Many participants may be able to use HSA/FSA funds for nutrition support, depending on their plan.
Superbills for possible insurance reimbursement are available upon request.
And gently, I want to offer this:
The question is not only, Can I justify this support?
It may also be, What is it costing me to keep carrying this alone?
The hours spent replaying one hard moment.
The mental energy lost to food thoughts, body fears, feeding triggers, and shame.
The moments when you are physically present with your children, but internally bracing, checking, spiraling, or trying to recover from the last trigger.
The ache of wanting to raise your children differently while still feeling alone with the parts of you that are scared.
Nourished Motherhood is not an investment in more information.
It is an investment in having a place to bring the moments that are already costing you so much — so food, body, fear, and shame can begin to take up less space inside, and more of you can be available for your children, your relationships, your rest, your joy, and your actual life.
Who is leading Nourished Motherhood?
I’m Crystal Karges, and it is truly my joy to lead Nourished Motherhood.
I bring a unique blend of clinical expertise and lived understanding to our space:
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist & Certified Lactation Consultant specializing in eating disorder recovery, maternal health, and child feeding.
Over a decade of experience supporting mothers in healing their relationships with food and body.
Mother of five who understands, personally and professionally, how tender the overlap between recovery and motherhood can be.
Inside Nourished Motherhood, I’ll be your guide — offering short teachings, live coaching, reflection, and support as we bring these real-life food, body, and motherhood moments into a space where they can be met with compassion instead of shame.
This space was created with deep care for the mothers who often feel like they have to translate every layer of this somewhere else.
What if I’m still unsure?
You are welcome to reply to this email with the question that feels hardest to sort through.
It might be capacity.
Cost.
Timing.
Whether you belong.
Whether this is “enough” to deserve support.
I’ll be checking my inbox today and doing my best to answer questions by email before enrollment closes tonight.
You can also let yourself ask gently:
Is this space naming something I do not want to keep carrying alone?
Would support now help more of me become available for my children, my relationships, my rest, and my actual life?
No pressure.
No performance.
Just a chance to listen honestly to the part of you that may be asking for care.
When does enrollment close?
Enrollment closes tonight:
Tuesday, June 2nd at 11:59pm PT
Or when all 15 spots are filled.
We begin tomorrow, Wednesday, June 3rd.
I do not know when I’ll run Nourished Motherhood live again in this format, so if this feels like the support you’ve been quietly needing in this season, this is the round that is open now.
If this page, these emails, or these audios have been naming something you’ve been quietly carrying…
if you are tired of spending so much invisible energy managing food, body, fear, shame, and the fear of passing this on…
if you are longing for more of yourself to be available for your children and your actual life…
Nourished Motherhood was created for this exact place.
You can read more and join here:
You do not have to be in crisis to deserve support.
You do not have to be fully certain to take one gentle step.
And you do not have to keep carrying the messy middle alone.
With you,
Crystal
